The ‘CSI’ Franchise Gets 7 Golden Reel Noms
1 min readThe Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) have released the list of nominees for the 2010 Golden Reel Awards. All three members of the CSI franchise were recognized. The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Mascara” was nominated in three categories for best sound editing: “Short Form Dialogue and ADR in Television”, “Short Form Sound Effects and Foley in Television” and “Short Form Music in Television”. CSI: Miami was also nominated in the “Short Form Dialogue and ADR in Television” and “Short Form Sound Effects and Foley in Television” categories for “Point of Impact”. Two different episodes of CSI: New York received recognition: “Cuckoo’s Nest” for “Short Form Sound Effects and Foley in Television” and “Manhattanhenge” for “Short Form Dialogue and ADR in Television”.
The 57th Golden Reel Awards will take place on February 20, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
