Take A Sneak Peek At ‘Miami”s Victim Of The Week
1 min readCSI: Miami‘s David Caruso (Horatio Caine) provides some insight into the death on this week’s episode, “Show Stopper”. Spoilers and embedded video after the jump!
“This is a pretty shocking story about a young pop star,” Caruso revealed. “[She] appears to burn to death on stage during a performance.” The Miami team has trouble during their investigation when the pop star’s handlers get in the way. “This sequence is us trying to get a look at the body, and her people are trying to prevent us from doing our job and examining who she is,” Caruso said, explaining a scene in which his character and Dr Tom Loman (Christian Clemenson) arrive where the death occurred and encounter opposition when they demand access to the victim.
However, there might be more to this death than meets the eye. “Scientifically, we realize that she was actually not breathing during the fire,” Caruso said. And the investigation becomes even more complicated when the identity of their victim comes into question. “It turns out that it may not be the young pop star at all,” the actor added. “There may be a double in place.”
