Wickersham spoke to TV Guide about her character’s love life, since the person she’s dating will be revealed in “Enemy Combatant”. Here’s the quote:

I was surprised. But I felt like it made a lot of sense. It’s someone who Bishop has had a strong friendship with for a while, so I liked that aspect to it. And … I don’t think anyone will really expect it, because it’s not someone who’s really been around all that much.

Wickersham also did an interview with TV Line about the episode, including this excerpt:

TVLINE | On a more serious note: Tell us about the Case of the Week that Bishop gets involved in.

Bishop goes to Gitmo to gather evidence for a Navy chaplain’s murder case, and within that she starts questioning her work at the NSA, and how certain innocent people have been sent to Gitmo. That brings up all of these questions for her, about how many innocent people are there — and how many has she contributed to?
