Watch Clips From Tonight’s ‘NCIS’ & ‘NCIS:NOLA’
4 min readNCIS and NCIS: New Orleans offer the second-to-last episodes of the season tonight, and you can find sneak peeks, quotes, an interview, tweets and photos after the jump!
Here’s the first clip from the NCIS episode “The Lost Boys”, which is the penultimate episode of season 12, featuring Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Dr Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum). (You can also find it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
Scene number two features Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Gibbs and DiNozzo. (It’s also available on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
Sean Murray (Timothy McGee) visited KTLA to talk about the show, and here’s the interview. It includes a sneak peek from tonight’s episode (starting at 2:24), featuring McGee, DiNozzo and guest star Matt Jones (Special Agent Ned Dorneget):
Tragedy will strike in “The Lost Boys”, and it will have a big impact on the show. “At the end of the penultimate episode, something pretty atrocious happens and we lose someone very close to us in the process,” Executive Producer Gary Glasberg told TV Guide. Wickersham added, “When there’s any sort of loss of a coworker or a friend or anyone that you’ve known for a while, it rattles you. It becomes a motivating thing for the team.”
Relating to the death mentioned above, Glasberg also told TV Guide, “It’s a pretty surprising ending and a pretty disturbing ending … that I don’t think anybody’s going to see coming.”
Here’s a question from TV Line:
Question: Any tiny scoop for the last episodes of NCIS? —Ann
Ausiello: In the season’s penultimate episode, “The Lost Boys” — which airs May 5 and continues a story arc about a terrorist group that recruits young people online — one of the NCIS agents will form a special connection with a boy caught in middle of the scheme.
TV Line also answered this question:
Question: Could you confirm that Agah Bayar is returning to NCIS? —Zoe
Ausiello: Indeed, I could: Showrunner Gary Glasberg says that Tamer Hassan will put in a “really important” encore in the season’s penultimate episode, titled “The Lost Boys.” An arms dealer who has been featured on the series thrice before, “Agah Bayar has specific information” about an “unfortunate event” being planned by a terror group that recruits young people online. Notes the EP, “He and Gibbs always have good stuff together.”
Mimi Rogers will appear in tonight’s episode, as well as next week’s season finale. According to TV Line, she’ll play a CIA agent.
TV Line also revealed that McGee and Dorneget will go “on a bit of an adventure, to Cairo, Egypt.”
