‘Passed Pawns’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds airs “In the Blood” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

When the BAU investigates victims of possible ritualistic murders in Utah, clues lead them to believe that the UnSub they are looking for might have a fascination with the Salem Witch Trials. Also, Garcia prepares for a “Day of the Dead” celebration at her apartment.

CSI will air the sixth episode of season 14, “Passed Pawns”, on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

The CSI team investigates the death of a homeless man who had a huge winning streak at a small casino.

Producer Phil Conserva directed the episode, which marks his second credit for the crime drama; he previously helmed “Dead Air” during season 13. Supervising Producer Christopher Barbour wrote “Passed Pawns” based on a story by Michael FX Daley. This is the sixteenth writing credit for Barbour, who previously penned the season premiere, “The Devil and DB Russell”. Daley has four previous credits, including last season’s “Sheltered”.

Shannon Lucio appeared in the CSI: Miami episode “Innocent” during the show’s second season, and Jason Manuel Olazabal guest-starred in the season nine episode “Happy Birthday”.
