1 min read

Fans of former CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) will be able to see him back on TV later this month, when the fourth season of Covert Affairs premieres on the USA Network on Tuesday, July 16 at 9:00pm ET/PT. “After being on a series for nine years, I wanted to make sure the next thing I did was the right thing,” Harper told TV Fanatic, which allowed him to make the leap from network television to a cable series. As CSI Files previously reported, Harper plays a CIA bureau chief named Calder Michaels, who is operating out of Columbia.

Here are two photos of Harper from a recent press visit to the Covert set:

You can find an interview embedded after the jump, in which Harper describes his role and reveals that Calder “brings a lot of conflict” to the series. There’s also a promo for the new season, which offers a glimpse of Harper’s character in action. (Please note that the first video might play automatically.)
