‘CSI:NY’ Finale Earns Lackluster Ratings
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: New York, “Today is Life”, shared the top spot on Friday, February 22. The crime drama ended its shortened ninth season with a timeslot-winning 9.39 million viewers, which is up from the penultimate episode, but this still marks one of the lower scores this season. The second half of a two-hour Dateline (6.65 million), Shark Tank (6.44 million), Touch (2.51 million), and a repeat of Cult (0.64 million) rounded out the hour. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Shark won the hour with a 1.8 rating/6 share. Dateline was next with 1.5/5. CSI: NY was even with last week’s 1.2/4, which ties the lowest score the series has pulled in during season nine. Touch (0.7/2) and Cult (0.2/1) came in fourth and fifth, respectively.
