Part 2 Of The ‘CSI’/’CSI:NY’ Crossover Shares The Top Spot
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: New York, “Seth and Apep”, split leadership at 9:00pm on Friday, February 8. The second half of the two-part crossover pulled in 9.44 million viewers, which is down almost a million from the previous episode. However, this was still enough to put CSI: NY ahead of the second half of a two-hour Dateline (7.32 million), Shark Tank (6.19 million), the second half of the Touch season premiere (3.55 million), and a repeat of The Carrie Diaries (0.64 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Tank earned the top spot with a 1.9 rating/6 share for the hour. New York was next with 1.6/5, which matches the highest score so far this season. Dateline (1.5/5), Touch (0.9/3) and Carrie (0.3/1) rounded out the hour.
(Please note that severe weather in the Northeast caused local pre-emptions, which could skew the overnight ratings.)

@CSIFiles I noticed ratings are always down when Christine is in the episode… Coincidence?
