‘CSI’ Wins The Hour Despite Drop in Ratings
1 min readThe latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “Risky Business Class”, earned the top spot on Wednesday, December 12. The crime drama pulled in a series low 9.52 million viewers, which is down more than two million from the previous episode. However, this was enough to help CSI beat the 10:00pm portion of Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 (7.79 million) and Chicago Fire (4.78 million). CSI also hit a series low in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, pulling in a 2.2 rating/6 share for the hour; this score still put it ahead of People (2.1/6) and Chicago (1.4/4).
