‘Miami’ Director Of Photography Eagle Egilsson To Visit ‘CSI’

Eagle Egilsson, who served as a director of photography, director, and co-producer on the Miami spinoff is moving from refreshing beaches to the Las Vegas Strip, I have learned exclusively. Egilsson will step behind the camera for this season’s fifth episode, titled “Once Bitten.” As CSI Files previously reported, Miami alum Gonzalo Mendendez will guest star in the upcoming installment as a corrupt lawyer. The former DP left Miami in 2008 and went on to direct shows such as Nikita, The Secret Circle and Alcatraz. His CSI installment, a Halloween themed episode written by Melissa Byer and Treena Hancock, will air October 31.
