Miller: ‘Miami’ Was A Journey To Remember
1 min readAs CSI Files previously reported, CBS made the decision to cancel CSI: Miami back in May. According to Omar Miller (Walter Simmons), the cast and crew learned the truth before the official announcement. “A lot of people suspected it was the last episode but no one was really sure,” the actor told the Sun Daily. “It was a sombre celebration. Everyone said what needed to be said. We found out only shortly before the public did.” Miller also told the New Straits Times that the cancellation was “kind of disappointing. We were hoping that at least, the show would be given one more season.”
When asked what he would miss the most about working on the crime drama, Miller revealed, “I have formed friendships with the cast and the team. Just being on the set has truly been a joyful experience for us. Now that we won’t be able to see each other on the set anymore, I’m sure it won’t feel right.” However, the actor is grateful for the time he got to spend on Miami. “It has been a great opportunity to be a part of the series,” he said. “It was truly a journey to remember for me.”
