Harper Films ‘1982’ In Philadelphia

CSI: New York’s Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) is currently in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he is working on the independent film 1982. According to Indiewire, the movie also stars Ruby Dee, Keri Hilson, Elise Neal and Michael K Williams. Based on a true story, 1982 centers around “the introduction of crack-cocaine into the community in Philadelphia, which happened in 1982,” Harper told the Huffington Post. In the film, a man tries to hold his family together after his wife becomes addicted to crack. He works to protect their 10-year-old daughter while helping his wife beat her addiction.
