Jesse McCartney Visits ‘CSI’
1 min readActor and musician Jesse McCartney has been cast in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation set to air in 2012, CSI Files has learned exclusively.
According to an insider, the former Disney star will appear in this season’s fourteenth episode, titled “Seeing Red.” McCartney will play Wes, a recent college graduate who falls unconscious and crashes his car. Wes forms a bond with Nick (George Eads), and the two work together to figure out what happened. Currently scheduled to air February 15, 2012, “Seeing Red” will also see the introduction of Elisabeth Shue‘s character, Julie “Finn” Finlay, joining CSI as its new leading lady. Frank Waldeck will direct the episode, which was written by Christopher Barbour and Tom Mularz. Production on the episode will begin January 3.
Over the years CSI has seen a variety of musical performers guest star, most recently Justin Bieber, who appeared for a two episode arc last season. Other notable names include Taylor Swift (“Turn, Turn, Turn”), Rascal Flatts (“Unshockable”), Jewel (“Bull”), and John Mayer (“Built to Kill, Part One”).
