CBS Alters Midseason Schedule, Puts ‘CSI:NY’ On 6-Week Hiatus
1 min readCBS has made some changes to its midseason schedule, and the alterations will affect the Friday night lineup. CSI: New York will return from the winter hiatus on Friday, January 6. However, starting February 17, Undercover Boss will shift to the Friday 8:00pm ET/PT timeslot, pushing A Gifted Man back to 9:00pm ET/PT and removing CSI: NY from the schedule. This will last for six weeks, and New York will return to the Friday 9:00pm ET/PT slot on March 30. Here is a list with the new schedule (all times ET/PT):
CBS Friday, Effective Feb. 17
8:00-9:00pm Undercover Boss (Time Period Premiere)
9:00-10:00pm A Gifted Man (Time Period Premiere)
10:00-11:00pm Blue BloodsCBS Friday, Effective March 30
8:00-9:00pm Undercover Boss
9:00-10:00pm CSI: NY
10:00-11:00pm Blue Bloods

It might be nice if CBS would explain this, so that we don’t have to going searching for our favorite TV shows all them time. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Put CSI:NY back on!

You really know how to mess up schedules. I had a hard time finding out what happened to CSI New York. Don’t mess with this shows timing. March is to long a time to wait. Mother has spoken!!! bbj

Who is the moron who thought this was a good idea? I resent the arbitrary unannounced change affecting CSI. It is typical of the stupidity of network management shuffling things around without considering a show’s loyal viewers. Screw you. I am going to watch something else other than a Gifted Man.

I’d like to think that a junior exec at CBS decided to change the Friday night lineup and some “godfather” of that individual let him get away with it. What a loss!!!!! CSI: NY has got to be one of the best on what is arguably NOT the best TV from a programming standpoint. At least this show along with very few allows you to utilized your brainpan to some degree unlike the useless, so called, comedy and reality shows that we get subjected to. Shame on CBS!!

I don’t understand why they are doing this with fri night lineup on cbs, not fair that we have to wait 6 weeks to watch csi ny, they could of found another spot for undercoverboss.. Bring back CSI:NY, are you crazy? Friday nights were fine before Undercover Boss showed up. Put it back on Sunday nights.

If CBS cancels CSI NY, CSI Miami, A Gifted Man, Good Wife, Unforgettable, I am cancelling CBS and all its Advertisers. Who care about an Undercover Boss and more dumb sitcoms.
Stop playing around with the shows people like. Get rid of those staged reality shows. No one I know watches them. No one who is sane watches them. They are a waste of air time. Put them all on DVD and send them to the insane asylums or the prisons for all the idiots to watch.
And of course CBS does it again. Screws up another good lineup and puts crap on like Undercover Boss. Come on! What is with you guys. You find a good lineup and deliberately look for ways to wreck it?????
