Elisabeth Shue Hired As ‘CSI”s New Leading Lady
1 min readAs CSI Files previously reported, Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) will exit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation this January. It is now being reported that Elisabeth Shue, an Academy Award nominee for her role in the film Leaving Las Vegas, is poised to join the flagship series as the new leading lady. Her first episode is scheduled to air February 15, 2012.
I think its a good choice
I also think she is a good choice – I’m just still unsure if I will continue to watch the show without m favorite character, Willows, in it. TD is a great cast addition, ES seems fine, too, but without MH, it is just not “my” show anymore.
Two headliners like these, may as well get rid of George, Jorja and Eric and the rest. There won’t be room for any story line for any of the veterans. Why replace Marg at all? – you have Jorja to step up and actually get non-Grissom-related story time for a change.
Agree with you. They keep screwing over the old team. 🙁
Regardless of who it is, I just don’t like the idea of bringing in a third new cast member this season. I was kind of holding out for Liz Vassey to return, partly because I love Wendy and the Wendy/Hodges relationship, but also because I think there’s too much change right now. It might as well be a completely new spinoff. :/
It’s just a different show no, TD is awful and can’t act his way out of a paper bag. Ray was the best character ever on CSI & I couldn’t care one way or another about this new gal. Nobody can replace Marg!
I will really miss Marg Helgenberger. She should stay as head, not Ted Danson.
