‘CSI:NY’ Revisits A Case From Jo’s Past
1 min readA case from Jo Danville’s (Sela Ward) past in Washington, DC will resurface on CSI: New York during November sweeps. (Spoilers after the jump!)
In the season seven episode “Vigilante”, Jo told Lindsay Messer (Anna Belknap) about the final case she worked in DC before moving to New York. The daughter of a Senator was raped, but the FBI mishandled the evidence and was forced to let the rapist go free. The past will resurface in episode 8.07, scheduled to air November 4. A young woman named Ali (played by Beau Garrett) accuses John Curtis (Jason Wiles) of raping her, Entertainment Weekly reports. The site has also announced that Ward’s former Once and Again costar Jeffrey Nordling will guest star during the storyline as Senator Matthews. The Senator’s daughter Serena (Jenn Proske) was the victim in the original case, and he comes to New York after Curtis is arrested for raping Ali. He puts pressure on the NYPD to catch Curtis this time—he doesn’t want this rapist to go free again.
