Clarke ‘Jumped At The Chance’ To Return To ‘CSI’
1 min readMelinda Clarke guest-stars on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation tonight, reprising her role as Lady Heather (now Dr Kessler) in “Unleashed”.
Lady Heather was last seen in season nine’s “Leave Out All the Rest”, and Clarke was wary when CSI creator Anthony Zuiker contacted her about coming back for another guest appearance. “I had a conversation with Anthony and was like, ‘Am I a corpse?'” Clarke told TV Guide. “Because it’s always a possibility with that show. He told me, ‘No! That would never happen!’ So I jumped at the chance to play her again.”
The return of Lady Heather brings her into contact with Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), which is a tricky situation given Heather’s past chemistry with Sara’s husband Gil Grissom (William Petersen). Petersen won’t appear in “Unleashed”, but Clarke wouldn’t mind coming back to film scenes with Grissom and his wife. “There could be a wonderful episode in the future, where she has more to do with Sara and Grissom,” Clarke said. “Anything is possible, so I’ll put that out in the universe and see what happens.”
