Petersen Returns To ‘CSI’ For Guest Appearance

According to S^3, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s former leading man William Petersen (Gil Grissom) will guest star in “The Two Mrs Grissoms” on February 3. (Minor spoilers after the jump!)

“The Two Mrs Grissoms” centers around a murder at a school for the deaf, and the story finds Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) interacting with her mother-in-law Betty Grissom (Phyllis Frelich). S^3 reports that Petersen will appear in several video conferencing segments during the episode. The actor left CSI during the show’s ninth season, and “The Two Mrs Grissoms” will mark his first appearance on the series since “One to Go” more than two years ago. CBS has not confirmed Petersen’s temporary return to CSI.
