‘Fracked’, ‘Scared Stiff’ & ‘Reality Kills’ Official Details

The franchise offers three new episodes featuring a double homicide, death by fear and a reality series gone wrong (which was originally scheduled for last week). Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts out the week on Thursday with “Fracked” at 9:00pm ET/PT, and the team investigates a double homicide with toxic connections:

Two men are murdered right before exposing a natural gas company for poisoning residents in a farming town, and the CSIs must discover who is responsible for their deaths.

This is Martha Coolidge’s fourth directing credit for CSI. She most recently helmed season ten’s “Take My Life, Please!” Writing duo Bradley Thompson and David Weddle have penned seven previous episodes, including the season premiere, “Shock Waves”.

Marc Vann and Archie Kao are reprising established recurring roles, and Katee Sackhoff was first seen in “Cold Blooded” earlier this season. Kevin Will appeared in two previous episodes of CSI: “Gentle, Gentle” during season one and season two’s “Chasing the Bus”. Megan Ward has previously guest-starred on CSI (“A Night at the Movies”) as well as CSI: Miami (“Vengeance”). Christopher Goodman appeared in the Miami episode “Resurrection” during the show’s seventh season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Friday, CSI: New York discovers a spooky crime scene in “Scared Stiff” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

When the CSIs experience eerie occurrences after finding a female victim who appears to have been literally scared to death, the case takes another strange turn when Mac discovers a second victim.

Marshall Adams directed five previous episodes of New York, including last season’s “Unusual Suspects”. This is the first writing credit for Kim Clements.

John Larroquette made his first appearance as Chief Ted Carver in last week’s episode, “Hide Sight”. Jeffrey Vincent Parise was on New York during the show’s first season in “Til Death Do We Part”, and he was in the CSI episode “Friends & Lovers” during season one.

The episode of CSI: Miami scheduled to air last week was preempted due to football overrun, so “Reality Kills” will air this Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When a reality star is murdered, the CSIs investigate the cast, the obsessed fans, and the stars’ hidden pasts to find the killer.

Marco Black directed two previous episodes, most recently season eight’s “Count Me Out”. Melissa Scrivner penned three Miami scripts, including “Backfire” last season.

Christian Clemenson is back as Dr Tom Loman. Lesley Fera was in three previous episodes of Miami as Dr Joyce Carmel, most recently “Man Down” during season five. Kristen Renton appeared in “YoungBlood” during New York’s second season. Matt Gerald guest-starred on CSI in the season eight episode “The Chick Chop Flick Shop”.

“Fracked”, “Scared Stiff” and “Reality Kills” begin airing November 11 on CBS.
