‘CSI’ Comes Second In Viewers, Third In The Key Demo

The series pulled in 12.29 million viewers, which wasn’t enough to beat competing Grey’s Anatomy (12.49 million). NBC’s combination of The Office (6.89 million) and Outsourced (5.23 million) was third for the hour, followed by Fringe (5.22 million) and Nikita (2.95 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Grey’s came first with a 4.5 rating/12 share. NBC’s average of 3.0/8 came in second, with CSI pulling a third place 2.7/7. Fringe (2.0/5) and Nikita (1.1/3) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
