Hall Realizes A Lifelong Dream
1 min readCSI Files previously reported that Robert David Hall (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s Dr Al Robbins) released his debut CD Things They Don’t Teach You In School earlier this month, and the actor will perform on the world’s longest running live radio programme The Grand Ole Opry this Saturday, June 19. “I’ve been listening to the Opry since I was a little kid,” Hall told the Tennessean. “I wanted to play guitar ever since I heard Roy Rogers and Gene Autry in the movies. I wanted to be a musician since I was 7 years old.”
“I’m 50 percent nervous about the Opry and 50 percent looking forward to it like I’ve never looked forward to anything else,” he continued. “My wife and I have been watching what Nashville went through with the flood, but to (play) the Ryman is such a wonderful strange twist of fate. All I want to do is be in tune and sound good. How many people get the opportunity to play on the Opry stage?”
