Check Out More ‘NCIS’, ‘NCIS:NOLA’ & ‘Criminal Minds’ Premiere Info, Plus 2 Promos
2 min readEarlier this month, CBS shared season premiere details for NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds. The official press releases for all three shows have now been posted, and you can find additional information below—along with previews for the NCIS and New Orleans premieres.
First, check out this recap of NCIS’s thirteenth season:
NCIS kicks off season 14 on Tuesday, September 20 at 8:00pm ET/PT. The premiere is called “Rogue”, and it will introduce newcomers Wilmer Valderrama (Nick Torres) and Jennifer Esposito (Alex Quinn). The episode was written by Executive Producer Gary Glasberg and Co-Producer Jennifer Corbett, and it was directed by Tony Wharmby. Here’s the description from the press release, which is the same as the information CBS shared earlier this month:
The NCIS team investigates a deadly car explosion in D.C. that connects to NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), who disappeared six months ago while on a deep undercover assignment in Argentina. Also, Gibbs asks NCIS Special Agent Alexandra “Alex” Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) to shadow his team after rejecting eight agents she instructed and referred for the open position.
And here’s a 40-second preview for “Rogue”:
The third season of NCIS: NOLA will debut in its new 10:00pm ET/PT timeslot on September 20. “Aftershocks” will introduce newcomer Vanessa Ferlito (Tammy Gregorio), and here’s the description from the press release:
The NCIS team partners with several federal agencies to track a sniper who is targeting crowded events in the city. Also, FBI Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (new cast member Vanessa Ferlito) arrives to investigate Pride and his team.
“Aftershocks” was written by Executive Producer Brad Kern, with Executive Producer James Hayman directing. You can watch a 30-second preview for the premiere below:
Criminal Minds kicks off season 12 on Wednesday, September 28 at 9:00pm ET/PT. The premiere is called “The Crimson King”, and it was written by Executive Producer Breen Frazier and directed by Co-Executive Producer Glenn Kershaw. The episode will feature the first appearance from Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez), and here’s the description from the press release:
Agent Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) joins the BAU team, which is tasked with capturing a killer who escaped prison with 13 other convicts at the end of last season.
There is no preview available for Criminal Minds just yet, and no preview or press release for NCIS: Los Angeles. (As CSI Files previously reported, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders is being held back for midseason.) We’ll share that information when it becomes available.
