CBS Shows Return With New Episodes In January

This Sunday’s episode of CSI: Cyber, “Shades of Grey”, marks the show’s winter finale. NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds have already aired their own winter finales, and new episodes will begin airing in January:

NCIS: LA will be the first show to return on Monday, January 4 at 9:59pm ET/PT. Here’s the description for “Core Values”:

Kensi and Deeks go undercover at a decommissioned nuclear power plant as the team investigates the radiation poisoning of a Gunnery Sergeant moonlighting as a security guard there.

The following night, Tuesday, January 5, marks the return of NCIS and NCIS: NOLA. “Sister City” is the name of the two-hour crossover that will air from 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT:

“Sister City: Part One” – After the passengers and crew of a private plane traveling from New Orleans to Washington D.C. are lethally poisoned, all evidence points to the missing chef, Abby’s brother, Luca (Tyler Ritter). Gibbs and the D.C. team work in conjunction with Pride and the New Orleans team to locate Luca and determine why a private tech company was targeted.

“Sister City: Part Two” – While Special Agent Pride and the New Orleans team investigate a Russian sleeper agent who was involved with Abby’s brother, Luca (Tyler Ritter), Sebastian flies to D.C. to partner with Abby on the forensics in the case. Also, Bishop drives through the night to deliver a package and work the case with the New Orleans team.

CSI: Cyber will return on Sunday, January 10 at 10:00pm ET/PT with “404: Flight Not Found”:

When the Cyber team investigates what appears to be a hack into air traffic control’s communication system, a greater threat emerges when a flight vanishes into thin air, drawing the team into the world’s first case of cyber-hijacking. Pro Football Hall of Fame Running Back Emmitt Smith guest stars as himself.

Finally, Criminal Minds will come back from the winter hiatus on Wednesday, January 13. Here’s the description for “Entropy”:

The BAU implements an elaborate strategy to try and take down the “Dirty Dozen” hitmen ring, with Reid playing a central role. Aubrey Plaza guest stars as Cat Adams, Reid’s date.
