‘iWitness’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

NCIS: Los Angeles kicks off the week with “Defectors” tonight at 9:59pm ET/PT. (The episode was originally scheduled to air last week, but was delayed due to the tragedy in Paris.) Here’s the episode synopsis (more information here):

In the hopes of sparing a family further tragedy, the Secretary of the Navy calls on NCIS to help a sailor battling leukemia locate a bone marrow transplant after his two Marine siblings are killed in the line of duty. Also, Bishop returns home to Oklahoma for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Criminal Minds isn’t on the schedule Wednesday. Instead, CBS will air Survivor from 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT. Minds will be back with a new episode next week.

The cyber team investigates the murder of a hacker who was hired to erase an assault victim’s comments from a confessional website.
Paul Holahan directed the episode, which marks his first credit for the CSI franchise. Writers’ assistant Carly Soteras penned “iWitness”; she previously co-wrote “Ghost in the Machine” during season one.

Rob Estes had a recurring role on CSI: Miami, most recently appearing in “Internal Affairs” during season five; he also guest-starred in “Merchants of Menace” during the fifteenth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Mary Mouser appeared in the CSI season six episode “Gum Drops”. Lauren Shaw was a stunt double in “The Twin Paradox” during CSI’s fifteenth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.
