Fox, Zuiker & Others Discuss ‘CSI’ Cancellation & TV Movie
3 min readAs CSI Files previously reported, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will come to an end with a two-hour TV movie scheduled to air on Sunday, September 27. The movie will feature the return of original leads William Petersen (Gil Grissom) and Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows). “How do you say goodbye to a show that made television history?” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler asked during the upfronts on Wednesday. “It was the No. 1 show on television for years. Not only has it been an important part of our schedule, and success, it helped change the direction of this network.”
You can find a set of tweets after the jump, including current and former cast and crew members, which relate to the CSI cancellation and the upcoming series-ending movie. There is also a video from Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), in which she addresses the fans:
Ok fans, I can finally talk about this publicly. Tweet me any CSI storylines you want featured in the 2-hour finale. pic.twitter.com/2VNc8vaeHD

@sarasidle07 don't cry. It will all be fine. Let's give it an ending it deserves. We are all sad but all great things must come to an end.

@zuiker attention all fans. We are definitely having a heavy Grissom and Sara storyline. That's a given. What else do you want to see?
