Here’s the first clip from the NCIS episode “Troll”, featuring Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Special Agent Ned Dorneget (Matt Jones). Wickersham spoke to TV Fanatic about joining the show, along with what’s coming up in the final three episodes of the season. Here’s an excerpt:

TVFanatic: What can you tell us about these three episodes? I know there’s a lot happening…

EW: It kicks off on our episode tomorrow, called “Troll” as a three-parter. The team is investigating the murder of a Navy Ensign who worked in the Office of Intelligence. We find out that it’s connected to this international terrorist group who’s recruiting children on the internet. So as you can imagine there’s a lot going on like anything involving children, where instantly a “fight or flight” response kicks in.

They’re action-packed, and we have a lot of really fun guest stars. We have Matt Jones back who plays Agent Dorneget, who I know everyone loves. That was my first time working with him, and he was awesome. He’s so funny, and he’s such a sweet guy.

Wickersham also did an interview with TV Line about her character and the end of season twelve. Tonight’s episode reveals that Bishop’s husband Jake (Jamie Bamber) has become good friends with Gibbs. “I don’t know if Ellie knows the extent of it, but the team is very surprised, because it’s an unlikely duo,” Wickersham said. She added that the pair is probably not getting together just to hang out. “I think they’re talking about more important things that no one is allowed to know about. It’s all very interesting….”

The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Wickersham about the show, including Bishop’s relationship with her husband. “Troll” features a “pretty intense” scene between the two, hinting at some trouble in paradise. “You get a glimpse into where they’re at in their relationship, and it’s a little bit of a wobbly point,” Wickersham revealed. “We don’t really know how things are going to be with them because I feel like all relationships on NCIS kind of end. … There’s a lot of conflict happening in their relationship.” However, she added that Bishop and Jake are “working through things.”
