NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans have new episodes on the schedule tonight. You can find sneak peeks, interviews, questions, tweets and photos after the jump!

Here’s the first clip from “We Build, We Fight”, featuring Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), and Hollis Mann (Susannah Thompson). (You can also find it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

And this second scene features Gibbs, Dr Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum), Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Timothy McGee (Sean Murray). (It’s also available on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

Carroll made his directorial debut with tonight’s episode, and here’s an interview he did about helming “We Build, We Fight”:

Carroll visited The Talk last week to talk about directing NCIS. You can find the full episode here (his interview starts at approximately 23:50), or check out a clip below:

TV Line has an article with information about tonight’s episode, along with the next few installments. Here’s an excerpt for “We Build, We Fight”, including quotes from Executive Producer Gary Glasberg:

Directed by cast member Rocky Carroll, this hour revolves around the murder of an openly gay and married Medal of Honor recipient. Was it a hate crime? “The story twists and turns, and of course we go down that road,” Glasberg says, “but not necessarily.” All told, “It’s a strong episode that touches on subject matter that I think is relevant, and Rocky did a terrific job,” the show boss notes. “I personally love when we take on subject matter that has some sensitivity to it, because I feel like we do a good job.”

Glasberg also spoke to Fox News about the storyline. “The episode delves into the complexity of that issue — how some of Kutzler’s fellow officers feel about it, how it is being handled,” he said. “It was brilliantly directed by our first-time director Rocky Carroll [who is normally in front of the camera as NCIS Director Leon Vance]. It is a terrific episode. The acting is really strong. I am excited about it on every level.”

You can also check out this interview with Glasberg from the Hollywood Reporter. He discusses several upcoming storylines, and here’s an excerpt about “We Build, We Fight”:

This week’s episode involves the investigation into a Marine’s death. What can you tell us about it?

It’s an episode I’m super proud of. It touches on a subject matter that intrigued me from the get-go that is, an openly gay, married Marine, is killed, and he was recently nominated for a medal of honor. And the investigation into his death takes us down the road of, was it a hate crime? Was it related to his homosexuality? It sort of takes us on a twisty-turny road of the reason behind his murder. We tend not to do a tremendous amount of episodes that take on subjects like this, but once in a while, when it’s this important and means a lot to us, we do it, and I’m just genuinely proud of how it came out.

Here’s a question from TV Line about the secondary plot from tonight’s episode:

Isn’t it time for the birth of Palmer’s baby on NCIS? –Ann

Showrunner Gary Glasberg says you “absolutely” should prepare to meet Baby Palmer this season. But first, we gotta have a baby shower, to be held in this Tuesday’s episode… in the big orange room. At the festivities, Glasberg says, “Jimmy Palmer is a classic nervous dad, very conscientious about keeping his mother-to-be Breena healthy, so he’s making everybody a little crazy!”

Check out this first clip from the NCIS: NOLA episode “The Walking Dead”, featuring Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black), Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan), Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and guest star BD Wong. (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

And here’s another sneak peek, which features Pride, Brody, LaSalle and CGIS Agent Abigail Borin (Diane Neal). (It can also be found on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
