Watch Clips From Tonight’s 2-Hour ‘CSI’ Finale Event
3 min readThe fifteenth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation comes to a close tonight with back-to-back episodes, airing from 9:00-11:00pm ET/PT. You can find sneak peeks after the jump, along with quotes, tweets and photos relating to the finale and the exit of original cast member George Eads (Nick Stokes). (Contains spoilers!)
Here’s a scene from the first episode, “Under My Skin”, featuring Julie Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
The second “Under My Skin” clip is from Yahoo TV, and it features Sara and guest stars Lisa Rinna and Brett Cullen:
This sneak peek is likely from “The End Game”, and it features Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Paul Winthrop, along with guest stars Shannon and Shauna Baker. (It’s also available on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
Executive Producer Don McGill and Co-Executive Producer Christopher Barbour spoke to Zap2It about the finale. Here’s a quote from McGill about the return of Eric Roberts’ character, Brother Daniel Larson, who has a “connection” to the Gig Harbor case:
The idea is that we’d have a killer that was so well versed in forensics that he could play games with our CSIs and basically create a scenario where our CSIs couldn’t trust the evidence anymore. Given that, [Brother] Larson is one that you can’t pin down. Eric’s chameleon like, unsettling persona as Brother Larson created a great scenario that set well into the case.
People.com posted an exclusive video from the finale, although it isn’t showing up on the site. The clip is said to feature Nick and Sara talking about Nick’s future, and she’s encouraging him to make a career change: “You gotta go where you can do the most good.”
McGill did an interview with TV Guide about Eads’ exit, revealing that Nick gets offered the chance to run his own lab in San Diego, California. Here’s a quote from McGill:
The evolution of Nick Stokes from the pilot to now has been a pretty rich character arc, which took him from a young CSI who was being mentored by Grissom [William Petersen] to the guy who inherited the mantel of Grissom. So, it made sense to consider an idea where Nick would go on to ‘become’ Grissom at another lab and make his name and reputation as a lab director. It seemed like the logical conclusion and culmination of that character arc from the pilot.
Finally, check out some tweets and photos relating to the two-part finale. (Edited to add more photos.)
@CSI_CBS Gonna miss, G. Such a great guy. Loved working with him.
