CBS Picks Up ‘NCIS’ Spinoff, ‘CSI’ Spinoff Is Pending

CBS has picked up the New Orleans-based NCIS spinoff starring Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride). The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation spinoff starring Patricia Arquette (FBI Special Agent Avery Ryan) was not picked up, but Deadline reports the network is still in talks and might decide to take the show to series. TV Wise suggests the tentatively-titled CSI: Cyber could be picked up for mid-season, using The Who’s “I Can See For Miles” as the theme song.

Update: CSI: Cyber has been picked up.
