Hall: People Will See Dr Robbins In A Different Light

1 min read

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s resident coroner heads out of the country in the February 5 installment. (Spoilers after the jump!)

As revealed in the First Look post for the episode, “De Los Muertos”, Dr Al Robbins (Robert David Hall) goes to Mexico with Nick Stokes (George Eads) to perform an autopsy as a favor to a friend. The wealthy Las Vegas businessman wants help after his teenage daughter is found dead from a possible cocaine overdose, and her body is found in a drug cartel crime area. “I am so excited about this episode on February 5th. I think people will see Dr Robbins in a different light,” Hall told The Hollywood Exclusive.

During filming, parts of East Los Angeles stood in for the Mexican border town Nick and Doc Robbins visit, and the CSI crew built an “amazing-looking” morgue set—which is a far cry from the state-of-the-art lab back in Las Vegas. “It’s definitely unusual,” Hall explained. “It’s not your typical spotless morgue and, you know, all of the highfaluting scientific stuff we do.”
