‘Boston Brakes’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

Here is the cast list and official details for this week’s episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, along with the promo; Criminal Minds also airs a new episode this week, while NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles have repeats on the schedule.

NCIS will re-air “Seek” from season ten on Tuesday at 8:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

The wife of a Marine who specialized in K-9 bomb detection urges the NCIS team to investigate the recent death of her husband in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Director Vance asks for the team’s assistance as he interviews nannies.

NCIS: LA will follow with a repeat of the season five premiere at 9:00pm ET/PT on Tuesday. Here’s the episode description for “Ascension” (more information here):

While Sam and Deeks recover from traumatic torture that will have a lasting impact on their personal and professional relationships, lives are still in jeopardy as the NCIS: LA team searches for stolen nuclear weapons.

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds airs “The Road Home” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

While the BAU looks for a vigilante killer on the loose in Cleveland, Rossi is concerned when his former Marine sergeant goes missing and heads to Los Angeles to find him. Also, the secret JJ has been keeping from the team may be catching up with her.

CSI airs on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and an old face returns in “Boston Brakes”:

The CSIs are called to investigate a car crash and are shocked to discover the victim is someone they know.

Eagle Egilson has directed two previous installments of CSI, most recently last season’s “Fearless”. The episode was written by Supervising Producer Christopher Barbour, who has 16 previous credits; he most recently penned “Passed Pawns” from earlier this season

James Callis is back as journalist John Merchiston, who was last seen in the season 14 premiere, “The Devil and DB Russell”. Matthew Davis has two credits as CSI Sean Yaeger, in “Passed Pawns” and “Helpless” from earlier this season. Leading man Ted Danson’s (DB Russell) daughter Kate Danson is back as well, playing a lawyer who previously appeared in the season 13 episode “Sheltered”. Jon Farless has been in six episodes of CSI, most recently “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead” during season eleven. Greg Ellis previously guest starred in the season five episode “King Baby”. The other actors are new to the franchise.
