‘Under A Cloud’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds airs “Gatekeeper” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

After a series of strangulations in Boston, the BAU looks for an UnSub who likes to keep mementos of the victims, and the team wonders if a common link to the casualties could lead them to the culprit. Meanwhile, the BAU rallies around Rossi when his favorite bar is on the verge of closing.

CSI airs on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and one CSI’s career is on the line in “Under a Cloud”:

The CSI team investigates a John Doe found during torrential rains in Vegas. Meanwhile, Greg Sanders is investigated and accused of framing a man for murder seven years ago.

Co-Producer Brad Tanenbaum directed the episode, which marks his twentieth credit for the series; he most recently helmed “Torch Song” earlier this season. Co-Executive Producers Elizabeth Devine and Richard Catalani wrote “Under a Cloud”. Devine has 15 previous writing credits, including “Torch Song”; Catalani has penned 26 previous episodes of CSI, most recently last season’s “CSI on Fire”.

Larry Mitchell is back as Officer Mitchell, and real life Las Vegas news anchor Paula Francis is playing herself for the twenty-first time—she last appeared in season eleven’s “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead”. This is the sixth onscreen appearance from Shelli Bergh, whose most recent credit is for the season 12 episode “CSI Down”. Set medic Jeffrey D Stevens has 10 acting credits for CSI, including “Malice in Wonderland” during season 12. Scott Connors was in the CSI: New York episode “Turbulence” during the show’s fifth season. Derek Webster guest-starred in “Bombshell” during season seven of CSI: Miami, and Assaf Cohen was in season eight’s “Dishonor”.
