Take A Peek At Tonight’s ‘CSI’ & ‘Criminal Minds’
2 min readYou can find clips from this week’s episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Criminal Minds embedded after the jump, along with links to two Minds interviews.
First, here’s a scene from the Criminal Minds episode “The Return”, featuring Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) and Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
Check out this interview with Moore from TV Line, in which he discusses his character’s new love interest, Savannah (Rochelle Aytes). Here’s an excerpt:
This is the closest I’ve been able to bring Shemar Moore to Derek — I have a lot more fun than he does, because Derek doesn’t have time to have that kind of fun. So I tip my cap to the [FBI profilers] who really do what we portray on television, because it’s a very dark, dark heavy world that really exists out there…. I honestly would never want to do that for a living, but I tip my cap to the people that do.
And here’s a TV Guide interview with Moore and Executive Producer Erica Messer about this new facet of Morgan’s life—read an excerpt from Messer below:
Everybody said, ‘Look, it’s been a long time and we’ve never really explored this side of Morgan. It might be fun to do that.’ Sometimes you hear [networks] not want love interests, but this was the opposite. I think it’s comforting to believe that he’s got someone at home when he’s not flying all over the country catching unsubs. It’s a nice relationship. You learn about her through him. They’ve been together for a little while.
Check out this clip from the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Helpless”, featuring Julie Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) and DB Russell (Ted Danson). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)
As CSI Files previously reported, Sherry Stringfield appears in “Helpless” as a swingshift CSI. TV Guide shared the following clip, which features Stringfield’s character and Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois).
