‘Helpless’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

Here is the cast list and official details for this week’s episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, plus what’s on NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Criminal Minds.

NCIS will air “Alibi” on Tuesday at 8:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

The NCIS team is forced to re-examine a hit-and-run murder case when a former FBI agent turned lawyer confides in Gibbs that her client’s confidential alibi is solid. Meanwhile, McGee grows suspicious of Tony’s strange behavior.

When an antiterrorism device is stolen, the team must quickly find the suspect and the device before an attack is made against Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Hetty realizes the case is bringing her back to someone from her past.

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds airs “The Return” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

When teenagers who were reported missing are suspected of a series of mass murders in Chicago, the BAU investigates their whereabouts to find a motive for the crimes. Also, Morgan has conflicting feelings when his girlfriend takes her job at a hospital as seriously as he takes his.

CSI will air “Helpless” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When a man is found dead inside a human-sized hamster ball, the CSI team is brought in to investigate. Also, the team collaborates with a swing shift CSI on a case involving a serial rapist.

This is the second directing credit for Karen Gaviola, who previously helmed last season’s “Forget Me Not”. The episode was penned by Supervising Producer Tom Mularz, who has 15 previous credits; he most recently wrote “Torch Song” from earlier this year.

Larry Mitchell and Joseph Patrick Kelly reprise their roles as Officer Mitchell and Officer Metcalfe respectively. Matt Davis is back as Dayshift CSI Sean Yeager, who first appeared in last month’s “Passed Pawns”. Bonnie Morgan guest-starred in “Sounds of Silence” back in season one. Mark Famiglietti has previously appeared in CSI (“Pledging Mr Johnson”), CSI: New York (“Risk”) and CSI: Miami (“Down to the Wire”). Dar Dixon was also in CSI (“Recipe for Murder”), CSI: NY (“The Dove Commission”) and Miami (“Prey”). Christopher Cousins has credits for Miami (“Nothing to Lose”) and New York (“YoungBlood”). James Shanklin was in the CSI: NY episode “Sláinte” during the show’s eighth season, and Cyrus Farmer guest-starred in “Stiff” during the final season of Miami.
