The BAU meets their new section chief, Mateo Cruz, who, unbeknownst to them, shares a long work history with JJ. Cruz joins the team as they comb the streets of Baltimore for an UnSub who leaves victims unable to communicate.
CSI airs on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and a reality competition takes a nasty turn in “Last Supper”:
When contestants on a reality cooking show accidentally eat human flesh during a competition, the CSI team is brought in to investigate.
Line Producer Frank Waldeck has directed nine previous episodes of CSI, most recently “Backfire” from season 13. Writing duo and Co-Executive Producers Treena Hancock and Melissa R Byer co-wrote the episode, which marks their ninth credit; their previous episodes include last season’s “Double Fault”.

Alimi Ballard is back as Detective Crawford, who was last seen in “Sheltered”. Catrinel Marlon returns as David Hodges’ (Wallace Langham) fiancée Elisabetta, who most recently appeared in “Fearless”. Cynthia Addai-Robinson previously guest-starred on CSI: Miami (“Internal Affairs”) and CSI: New York (“Greater Good”). Charles Malik Whitfield has also appeared on Miami (“Stand Your Ground”) and New York (“Unwrapped”). Coby McLaughlin was in “Out of the Sky” during CSI: NY’s seventh season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

The case could be interesting….we’ll see, but I just don’t care for the Morgan/Hodges/Elisabetta triangle. I think Hodges had romantic chemistry with Wendy, end of story!
