TV Guide posted “9 Teases” for season 9. You can read them here (please note there’s a video on the page that plays automatically), and here’s an excerpt:
7. Basics on Blake
Having been introduced last season, Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn) is the one member with whom viewers are least familiar, her long-distance relationship and history with Strauss and The Replicator notwithstanding. But that will change when her family drops by. “It won’t be a flashback, but you will understand after meeting her family why Blake became who she is in the FBI,” Messer says. “We really want to flesh out Blake more this year. We didn’t do it that much last year.”
TV Fanatic has an interview with AJ Cook (JJ Jareau) about season 9, and you can read an excerpt below:
Season 9 is a season about all of our characters. We’re looking at this season as a thank-you card to our viewers who’ve been there sticking with us through thick and thin. So we’re going to take Season 9 to get into the back-stories of all of our characters. I think the reason JJ’s getting a little more attention is because we really don’t know anything about her., and there’s so much mystery surrounding her in general. With her leaving in Season 6 and working for the State Department, everyone wants to know who she is.
Mike Colter is a recurring actor on The Good Wife, and he’ll appear in the October 9 episode of Minds, “Final Shot”, which is also the episode that features former CSI: Miami actress Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista). According to the Hollywood Reporter, Colter will play “Colin Bell, a man who risks everything and puts his own life on the line to save a sniper’s next target”.
Here are some photos from Twitter, featuring Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia), Matthew Gray Gubler (Dr Spencer Reid), Mantegna, Co-Producer Rick Dunkle, and guest stars Franklin Fung, Julianna Guill and Jack Plotnick:
Finally, check out a small collection of photos from the Emmy Awards, featuring social media reporter Shemar Moore (Derek Morgan) as well as NCIS actor Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) and NCIS: LA’s LL Cool J (Sam Hanna) and Chris O’Donnell (G Callen):
NCIS
Deadline reports that CBS is planning another NCIS spinoff based in New Orleans. Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) and EP Gary Glasberg will serve as executive producers on the project, which will be introduced with a two-part episode that will air on NCIS in the spring.
Here are some pictures from Twitter, featuring Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo), Colin Hanks (Richard Parsons), David McCallum (Dr Donald “Ducky” Mallard), and Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto):
And finally, here’s a spoilery tweet from Glasberg about episode 11.02:

NCIS: LA
Here’s a question from TV Line:
Question: Congratulations to Daniela Ruah on her pregnancy and engagement! Will her pregnancy be written into NCIS? –Donna
Ausiello: At this time, the show has “no comment” on whether or not Kensi will in turn be pregnant. But hey, maybe that’s the “most unexpected” midseason turn for “Densi” that showrunner Shane Brennan teased in our fall preview…?
Check out these photos from Twitter, featuring Daniela Ruah (Kensi Blye), Eric Christian Olsen (Marty Deeks), director Steven DePaul, writer Jordana Lewis Jaffe, and O’Donnell:
