Zuiker: ‘Whodunnit?’ Plays Like A TV Drama

As CSI Files previously reported, CSI creator Anthony Zuiker has a brand new murder mystery reality show debuting later this month. Whodunnit? premieres on ABC on Sunday, June 23 at 9:00pm ET/PT. “Each episode has an elaborate death at the end,” Zuiker told the NY Daily News. “And that death is the mystery that needs to be solved in the next episode.”

The contestant who makes it to the end and unmasks the killer will take home $250,000, but Whodunnit? is not your typical competition series. “It’s very cinematic,” Zuiker explained. “Tonally, thematically, it plays like a TV drama. There’s no question that you’re watching a reality show, but it’s put together in a way that no one has seen before.”
