Harnois: There’s Always Going To Be A New Story To Tell
1 min readWhen Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody) joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, she was worried about fitting in with an established group. “That was my biggest fear, that I was joining a group of people who had been together for 12 years at that point,” the actress told the Daily Record. Fortunately, the rest of the CSI cast welcomed Harnois with open arms. She added, “I took a big exhale after realising I was working with peers who were supportive, not competitive.”
CSI is heading into its fourteenth season this fall, and Harnois attributes the show’s continued success to its “perfect formula” for self-contained episodes. “There are so many stars that have to align to make a show a success,” she said, “but I do believe that because we’ve had a formula where science was a character as much as everyone else was, there was always going to be a new story to tell. There is always going to be a new murder, a new discovery in science and the way we solve crime.”
