‘Backfire’ Official Details

In this week’s new episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, a young girl survives an attack that leaves three others dead. Official plot details and cast list can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation needs the help of a child to crack the case in “Backfire” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When the CSIs investigate a triple homicide, Russell has to find a way to connect with a 6-year-old girl who was the sole survivor and witness.

Line Producer Frank Waldeck directed the episode, which marks his ninth time helming the crime drama; his most recent credit is for “Risky Business Class” from earlier this season. Jack Gutowitz previously penned the season twelve episode “Trends With Benefits”.

Larry Mitchell is back as Officer Mitchell. Amy Acker previously appeared in “Man Up” during season eleven, and James McCauley was in season six’s “The Unusual Suspect”. Vincent Ventresca has guest-starred on CSI: Miami (“Invasion”) and CSI: New York (“Who’s There?”). Wings Hauser was in the Miami episode “Grand Prix” during the show’s second season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

“Backfire” airs April 10 on CBS.
