Helgenberger Joins CBS ‘Intelligence’ Pilot

Former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) has signed on for a major role in Intelligence, a crime drama pilot from CBS. The series follows a US Cyber Command unit that centers around an agent with a microchip implanted in his brain; this modification gives him access to the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Helgenberger will play the Cybercom director, Lillian. Josh Holloway (Lost) will portray the enhanced agent, Gabriel Black, and James Martinez (Breaking Bad) is signed on to play federal investigator Gonzo Sanchez. Other names attached to the project are Michael Seitzman (creator/executive producer), Rene Echevarria (executive producer), and David Semel (director/executive producer). Intelligence is based on the unpublished book Dissident by John Dixon.
