‘In Vino Veritas’ & ‘Seth And Apep’ Official Details

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gets things going on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT with “In Vino Veritas”:
When CSI Mac Taylor decides to surprise his girlfriend in Vegas, he discovers she’s missing and asks his friend D.B. Russell for help. Meanwhile, the CSIs investigate the loss of a local wine collector on part one of a two-part crossover with CSI:NY.
Executive Producer Louis Milito has directed ten previous episodes of CSI, most recently “Fallen Angels” from earlier this season. The episode was written by Co-Executive Producer Rick Eid, who previously penned this season’s “Pick and Roll”.

Gary Sinise appears as his CSI: New York character Mac Taylor. Larry Mitchell reprises his established recurring role as Officer Mitchell. Jeff Branson has previously guest-starred on CSI: Miami (“Blood Lust”) and CSI: NY (“Command+P”). The other actors are new to the franchise.
On Friday, CSI: New York continues the story in “Seth and Apep” at 9:00pm ET/PT:
Mac and the team partner with D.B. Russell to outsmart Christine’s kidnappers before they run out of time to save her life, in the second part of a two-part crossover.
“Seth and Apep” marks the sixth directing credit for Eric Laneuville, who previously helmed last season’s “Brooklyn ‘Til I Die”. The episode was written by Producers Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt. The pair also co-wrote “CLUE: SI” earlier this season.
The episode will feature the following actors in guest-starring roles:
- Ted Danson as D.B. Russell
- Navid Negahban as Zane Kalim
Ted Danson appears as his CSI character DB Russell in the spinoff. Navid Negahban previously guest-starred in the Miami episode “Dishonor” during the show’s eighth season.
“In Vino Veritas” and “Seth and Apep” begin airing February 6 on CBS.
