The franchise airs a two-episode crossover this week, starting on CSI and carrying over to CSI: NY. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gets things going on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT with “In Vino Veritas”:

When CSI Mac Taylor decides to surprise his girlfriend in Vegas, he discovers she’s missing and asks his friend D.B. Russell for help. Meanwhile, the CSIs investigate the loss of a local wine collector on part one of a two-part crossover with CSI:NY.

Executive Producer Louis Milito has directed ten previous episodes of CSI, most recently “Fallen Angels” from earlier this season. The episode was written by Co-Executive Producer Rick Eid, who previously penned this season’s “Pick and Roll”.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Gary Sinise as Mac Taylor
  • Larry Mitchell as Officer Mitchell
  • Damian O’Hare as Jonah Drake
  • Nicole Steinwedell as Samantha Wilson
  • Edward Herrmann as Albert Vogel
  • Jeff Branson as Jack Davari
  • C.S. Lee as Vincent Carrado
  • Nicholas Bishop as Tom Scola
  • Christopher Heyerdahl as Marc Ratelle

  • Donnell Turner as Bouncer

Gary Sinise appears as his CSI: New York character Mac Taylor. Larry Mitchell reprises his established recurring role as Officer Mitchell. Jeff Branson has previously guest-starred on CSI: Miami (“Blood Lust”) and CSI: NY (“Command+P”). The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Friday, CSI: New York continues the story in “Seth and Apep” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

Mac and the team partner with D.B. Russell to outsmart Christine’s kidnappers before they run out of time to save her life, in the second part of a two-part crossover.

“Seth and Apep” marks the sixth directing credit for Eric Laneuville, who previously helmed last season’s “Brooklyn ‘Til I Die”. The episode was written by Producers Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt. The pair also co-wrote “CLUE: SI” earlier this season.

The episode will feature the following actors in guest-starring roles:

  • Ted Danson as D.B. Russell
  • Navid Negahban as Zane Kalim

Ted Danson appears as his CSI character DB Russell in the spinoff. Navid Negahban previously guest-starred in the Miami episode “Dishonor” during the show’s eighth season.

“In Vino Veritas” and “Seth and Apep” begin airing February 6 on CBS.
