Karen Gaviola Tackles ‘CSI’
1 min readDirector Karen Gaviola can now add CSI: Crime Scene Investigation to her resume, completing the CSI: Trifecta. Gaviola has been attached to direct this season’s fifteenth installment, “Forget Me Not,” written by Andrew Dettmann. During CSI: Miami‘s run, Gaviola directed sixteen episodes of the series, including the extended episode “Crime Wave” from Season Three. In Season One of CSI: NY the female auteur helmed “Tanglewood,” and went on to direct other series such as Lost, NCIS: LA, and Prison Break.
As CSI Files previously reported, the episode boasts an appearance from Kay Lenz who appears as Sara Sidle’s (Jorja Fox) mother. The episode is scheduled to air February 20.
