Sarah Brown Visits ‘CSI’
1 min readDays of Our Lives‘ Sarah Brown is making her return to primetime with a guest-starring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Brown will guest-star in a November sweeps episode that focuses on Julie Finlay’s (Elisabeth Shue) past. In the episode, titled “CSI On Fire,” Brown will play Karen “Kay Kay,” the wife of a Seattle police officer. When Tom Cooley, the serial that Finlay dealt with two years ago in Seattle (and mentioned in the “Homecoming” installment) appears to be the prime suspect in a string of murders taking place in Las Vegas, Finlay visits Seattle to question Karen about the nature of her relationship with Cooley. Jeff Hunt will direct the episode from a story by Carol Mendelsohn, Richard Catalani and a teleplay by Thomas Hoppe, who happens to be Mendelsohn’s assistant. Shooting begins next week.
The news of Brown’s casting was first announced on Twitter and additional details on the role confirmed by a CBS rep. In addition to roles on other daytime soaps such as The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, Brown has appeared on Castle, The Closer and Cold Case.
