‘CSI:NY’ Premiere Shares Leadership In New 8PM Timeslot
1 min readThe season nine premiere of CSI: New York, “Reignited”, earned the top spot in viewers during the 8:00pm ET/PT timeslot on Friday, September 28. The crime drama pulled in 9.00 million viewers, which is similar to the ratings pulled in by the season eight finale; these numbers put New York ahead of Shark Tank (5.89 million), a repeat of X-Factor (3.28 million), a repeat of Grimm (2.84 million), and America’s Next Top Model (0.92 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, however, Shark Tank came out on top with a 1.5 rating/6 share for the hour. CSI: NY was next with 1.3/5, which is up slightly from last season’s finale; X-Factor (1.1/4), Grimm (0.7/2) and Top Model (0.5/2) rounded out the hour.
