Peri Gilpin To Play DB Russell’s Wife On ‘CSI’
1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation has cast Peri Gilpin (Frasier) to play Allison, the wife of new boss DB Russell (Ted Danson). (Minor spoilers after the jump!)
According to TV Line and Entertainment Weekly, Gilpin will appear in the season twelve finale on May 9, and there are plans to bring her back on a recurring basis during season thirteen. Here’s the official description for the character:
She grew up in a world of sailboats and stables and society pages. The apple of her banker father’s eye, Allison could have had any suitor she wanted. But always rebellious, she chose to turn her back on privilege, marrying the iconoclastic criminalist, D.B. Russell. She is the keeper of the hearth at home with an easy way about her that belies an iron will.
