Let’s face facts, dear producers and writers: you are quite obviously Not. Doing. Your. Homework. Why on earth would you have Hodges move out of his mom’s place -again? For the third time? When he already mentioned in season six that his mother complained when he invited her over for Thanksgiving? Said something similar about season eight? There are running gags which fall flat in the long run, and this is one of them. Besides, meeting David’s mom might be a funny tidbit, but far from what us Hodges-fans want -and that is our Wendy back.
Blinding cameos from high-priced, award-winning celebs are not what made this show big. It was the comedy, tragedy and often surreal mundanity of everyday, common people. people like your viewers.
The individual talents, problems quirks and flaws of both the CSIs and lab rats, their interaction as a whole team, not to different parties accidentaly working the same cases at the same place and time.
Then again, why would you care what us veterans, who have been with the series since the very first episode, want? It’s not as if the shows popularity had anything to do with our slavish devotion, right? Or did it..?
