Jo Is A ‘Loose Cannon’ During This Week’s ‘CSI:NY’
1 min readTonight’s episode of CSI: New York, “Means to an End”, marks the third and final part of the story arc delving into Jo Danville’s (Sela Ward) past with the FBI as she and the CSIs try to put rapist John Curtis (Jason Wiles) behind bars. (Spoilers after the jump!)
The team’s case against Curtis took a hit in the previous episode, “Crossroads”, and Jo doesn’t want him to evade justice again. “She is furious,” Ward told TV Line. “She is absolutely obsessed with getting this guy, so she’s being doing things that get her in a little bit of trouble with Mac [Taylor, Gary Sinise]. She’s a loose cannon at this point.”
However, Jo isn’t the only one who would like to see Curtis in jail. “Means to an End” introduces Frank Waters (Michael Weston), Jo’s former colleague in the FBI whose career was ruined during the original John Curtis case. “He really is a tragic figure in this story because he just kind of loses it,” Ward revealed. “His whole career was ruined because of the mistake he made to let the rapist go free [in D.C.], so he really fell apart.”
