Helgenberger Says Goodbye To ‘CSI’

Wednesday, December 7 marked the last day of filming for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s leading lady Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), whose final episode will air on January 25. You can find a video link and pictures after the jump!

Entertainment Tonight visited the CSI set on Helgenberger’s final day. “It’s been a fifth of my life, and it’s been quite a ride,” Helgenberger said. “How can I leave this? … It’s so much more than a job and that’s why it has such an impact on me.” You can find the original video here, which features emotional interviews with the actress as well as costars Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), George Eads (Nick Stokes) and Ted Danson (DB Russell).

Another CSI costar, Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody), shared a picture from her last scene with Helgenberger. CBS TV Studios and Robyn Stewart also posted a some pictures, offering fans a glimpse at the actress’s final day on the set of the hit crime drama. Click to see each image full-sized:

  1. It doesn’t seem likely, since they all keep talking about bringing Marg back for appearances later on, but I guess we won’t know until the episode airs. I certainly hope not, that would be a horrible surprise!
