Fox Helps Announce Animal Protection Act
1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) was one of the attendees at a press conference on Capitol Hill yesterday. At the conference, Representative Jim Moran (D-VA) unveiled the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act (TEAPA), which aims to restrict the use of exotic and non-domesticated animals in traveling circuses and exhibitions. “Congress has a responsibility to protect the welfare of animals and ensure public safety,” Fox said in a press release. “A prohibition on the use of exotic and wild animals in traveling circuses is proportionate, responsible, the least expensive solution to this problem, and long overdue.”
