‘Crime After Crime’, ‘Crossroads’ & ‘A Few Dead Men’ Official Details

The franchise offers three new episodes this week, featuring cases with a hidden connection, the return of a serial rapist, and a killer targeting former prisoners. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts out the week with a series of connected cases in “Crime After Crime” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When the CSI team investigates three seemingly unrelated murders, they discover someone is getting revenge for cold case murders that were never solved.

Paul McCrane directed “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Dead” during season eleven. “Crime After Crime” was written by Tom Mularz, based on a story from Co-Executive Producer Richard Catalani. Mularz has eight previous writing credits (including last month’s “CSI Down”), and Catalani has 22 (most recently “Hitting for the Cycle” last season).

Alex Carter, Jon Wellner, Barbara Eve Harris and Geoffrey Rivas are reprising established recurring roles. James Aldridge has played Assistant Coroner Jimmy in four previous episodes, most recently season nine’s “19 Down”. Cooper Huckabee appeared in “Appendicitement” during season ten. Ramon Franco was in the CSI: Miami episode “Blood Sugar” during the show’s ninth season. Michael Massee guest-starred in “Hammer Down” during season six of CSI: New York. The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Friday, CSI: New York dredges up painful memories in “Crossroads” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

As the CSIs investigate the assassination of a judge, Jo comes face-to-face with a criminal from her past.

Director Jeff T. Thomas has five previous credits for the crime drama, most recently season seven’s “Justified”. Supervising Producer John Dove penned “Crossroads”, which marks his sixteenth writing credit for New York; his other credits include this season’s premiere, “Indelible”.

Jason Wiles is back as John Curtis, the rapist from Jo’s past who was first introduced during last week’s episode, “Crushed”. Beau Garrett appeared in last week’s episode as well, playing Curtis’s latest victim. Jeffrey Nordling was in the CSI episode “Secrets & Flies” during the show’s sixth season, and Ivo Nandi was in season nine’s “The Descent of Man”. Alan Pietruszewski appeared in the Miami episode “No Man’s Land” during season five. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: Miami rounds out the week with “A Few Dead Men” on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and someone in Miami is hunting down former convicts:

The CSIs investigate when three convicted murderers are released from prison and someone starts killing them one by one.

This is the fourth directing credit for Don Tardino, who previously helmed “Blown Away” last month. K. David Bena wrote three previous episodes, most recently season nine’s “Caged”.

Christian Clemenson is reprising his established recurring role as Dr Tom Loman. Richard Cox previously played Judge Ebersol in the season nine finale, “Mayday”. David Andrews has been on Miami (“Double Jeopardy”) as well as CSI (“Paper or Plastic?”). Scott Anthony Leet guest-starred in the CSI episode “Man Up” during the show’s eleventh season, and Josh Coxx appeared in season nine’s “A Space Oddity”. David Meunier was in two episodes of CSI, most recently season eight’s “A Thousand Days on Earth”. Michele Greene also appeared in two episodes of CSI, including “The Gone Dead Train” during season nine. The other actors are new to the franchise.

“Crime After Crime”, “Crossroads” and “A Few Dead Men” begin airing November 16 on CBS.
